ALL Host Accommodation properties in the Christchurch/Canterbury Region are now open for business. City Central Motel Apartments, Christchurch which was in the cordoned off area of the City has been cleared is now open for business.

"The recovery from the earthquake on the 22nd is in full swing. We are pleased to report that the building is good shape, engineers have checked it thoroughly and we have all services back on. We are now outside the cordon and access can be gained from Hereford Street off Fitzgerald Ave."

CHRISTCHURCH HOST ACCOMMODATION MEMBERS UPDATE

Dally Le Comte, Host Accommodation Board Member from Classique Lodge Motel, Christchurch visited the Christchurch Host Accommodation members to see how they are all fairing. This is what Dally had to say "John at Airport Christchurch Motel was in good spirits and does not need for anything at this stage. Brian at AAA Northlands Motel is okay and fully operational. Murray & Jocelyn at Milano Motor Lodge are starting to get more underway with tidying up their home. They all seemed to be in good spirits considering what they have been through. Have just spoken to Chris at City Central Motel Apartments and they are now open but only for those that are working within the cordon, but still have to have their building structurally tested."
