SCHOOLS OUT!

It is time to take the kids on that Mid-Winter Ski Holiday.

With so many wonderful Ski fields in NZ it is a good time to pack up the car, pick your favouite Host Motel to stay at and get out and about on the slopes.

Mt Ruapehu has three wonderful Ski Fields, Wakapapa, Turoa and Tukino.   Whakapapa is well known for being a great beginners area, whilst Turoa offers some of the best snowboarding terrain in NZ.

Base yourself in Christchurch for a few days and head up to Mt Hutt.  On a clear Canterbury day you can see the Pacific Ocean in one direction and into the heart of the Southern Alps in the other.  Kids under 10 get to SKI FOR FREE.

Queenstown and Wanaka boosts some of NZ's best skiing with fields at The Remarkables, Coronet Peak and Cardrona. Coronet Peak caters for all abilities.  The large novice area has a separate beginners trail, whilst more experienced skiers and riders enjoy varied terrain from wide groomed trails to steep off-piste runs.
